Oregon DOT's 2011 Asset Management Strategic Plan (AMP) is based on a review of asset management practices and the principles from AASHTO’s Transportation Asset Management Guide. The asset management goals, as outlined in the document, are: foster integrated decision-making, establish a statewide inventory, develop an integrated data system, and create integrated reporting and analysis tools. An implementation plan has been made to reflect each one of these objectives.

This report is the result of a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) grant to the Washington State DOT (WSDOT) to test a conceptual climate risk assessment model on transportation infrastructure. The key components of the report are the formulation of a risk assessment method for the analysis and fourteen workshops that involved representatives from all modes of transportation in the state.

This starter kit provides guidance and background information for government agencies on how to use Lean methods to reduce waste in agency processes. It also includes a bibliography of Lean References and additional resources, tools, and templates that support Lean implementation efforts.
