The West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) utilizes data-driven methods to manage more than 34,000 miles of state roads and 7,200 bridges. This Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP) describes how WVDOT utilizes TAM methods to manage the state’s highways and bridges to maximize performance, condition, and financial resources.
